There almost isn’t a day that I wake up where I have not been asked by a male how to become a porn star, be in porn or if they can shoot with me. This actually has become just about a daily question that comes up. I am going to try and answer this here in one place in one concise answer to direct people to.
Porn isn’t what you think it is. It isn’t a easy job to do and accomplish effectively and as a male talent, it just is not as fun as you all dream it would be. I hate to be the one to tell you that but I am about truth. Almost no males make actual money doing porn and there is a very few males at any given time that shoot all the scenes of that time period for every single mainstream site. So lets say now it’s 2021, there is about 6 to 8 guys that do the bulk of all the work of shooting with various females on paid shoots across the country. In 5 years it will be a different group of a same few guys.
For males to effectively be part of this group, you have to start young and get picked fast. You have to be 18 to 22 . If you have not started by then basically it is not going to happen. You need to look young, race is less important but being young and looking young is key. Then you have to be able to perform in front of a camera man and the girl and whomever is on set. You have to follow directions, be respectful and be hard on command and stop on command to change angles. You need to be comfortable with another male and/or the camera man right on top of your junk. You as well need to be okay being treated like shit and many times ushered in then rushed out just doing your scene. The male talents are not treated like the girls. They feed the girls, do their make up and hair and send the guys in for their part then tell them to go. For this stage I would suggest that you for sure get an agent. An agent will be able to give you credibility and find you work. Another factor is testing, you have to professionally test. Most companies prefer TalentTesting.com for std and covid tests every 10 days to 2 weeks. You as well cannot have any other sex to mess up your test with others not tested. This means a commitment to the industry not your personal life.
If you make it this far and you have worked for a few years and you have a name, it is possible to role with it from there and follow up with your own sites, only fans and the various ones such as Many Vids and Clips4Sale. You can trade/share content with other talents or pay girls. With the right marketing it is possible to make some money. You as well to keep it going can and should be comfortable with a male audience. Men are who pays for porn. Women do not ever pay for porn or sex. The most any women will do is support things to do in a relationship with a guy she is attracted to. I have never seen any female directly pay a man or be a sugar mama. Men is your audience so if you want to make customs it will be for men.
If none of that resonated with you and you still wish to be in porn, I have seen a few guys, a very few, but a few whom made a niche, with a repeating story or scene that is catchy, they are good with a camera and they have been able to effectively start sites that pay. However, if you go this route, it most likely will be POV and you will have to pay models. You need to think of something interesting enough to have guys watch it and wish they were you. In doing this you need to pay the models to work for you and share references with new models the ones who did work on the site and as well have a legitimate site up and running to show potential models.
Another way to be a part of porn is to find sites that use multiple guys for such things as blowbang or gloryhole. You have to find out if any of those are located in your city and contact the the site. It is volunteer and there are other guys there. This is more if you are just looking for fun.
The very last possible way to make it in porn as a male is to be an actual real boyfriend or husband to a model and she is able to use you in her content. This is handy and convenient and thrifty for the model as the testing with you isn’t needed but you are only fucking her unless she invites you to shoots and you get tested as well. Being this kind of boyfriend also requires you don’t mind that she “works” way more than you do and that she works with others. Being the boyfriend isn’t being a hook up to a model, its actually being in her life day in and day out and eventually you learn how to film and do other tasks that go with porn.
